Services: Turning and Milling Comibination, Heat Treatment, Blue Zinc Plated
Material: Steel Alloy
About The Product
The customer is a reputable designer and retailer specializing in professional motorcycle modification accessories. Their main objective is to introduce high-strength, corrosion-resistant motorcycle axles to provide a safe riding experience for players, eliminating any potential risks associated with axle deformation or breakage when driving at high speeds or making sharp turns.
CNC Machining
The customer specified steel alloy as the material for the motorcycle shaft, which with good cutting performance and machinability. Through CNC machining, the shaft shape and size can be accurately shaped and machined to meet the requirements.
Our machine centers with multi-axis control capabilities and specialized threading capabilities can complete threading operations efficiently and accurately.
Heat Treatment
After heat treatment, steel alloy can reach 50~55HRC and become stronger. Heat treatment can greatly improve the durability and wear resistance of motorcycle shafts.
In the manufacturing process of parts, hardness requirements are a very important indicator. Most of our customers' hardness requirements for parts range from 20 to 60HRC. For parts that are subject to impact or increased deformation, the hardness requirements are relatively low, generally between 20 and 40HRC. For parts with higher hardness requirements, the hardness range is generally between 40 and 60HRC.
Blue Zinc Plated (Galvanizing)
Galvanizing is an electroplating process often used to treat metal surfaces to increase the corrosion resistance of metal parts and improve their appearance.
The blue coating covers the steel surface, which not only looks beautiful, but also provides an extra layer of protection for the shaft, making it less likely to rust in humid environments. Galvanizing can effectively enhance the anti-corrosion performance of motorcycle shafts, making players safer while driving.
Inspection
After completing all processing steps, the parts need to undergo final inspection before they become finished products. Our workshops need to trim and debug shafts before shipment. This may include deburring, removing excess case hardened layer and testing the fit of threads to the part etc. At JANEE, our quality control team uses a range of inspection equipment to perform final inspections prior to shipment.
The Finished Product
The finished product looks sophisticated and simple, which may give consumers the impression of ease of making. However, a project like this actually requires a subtle evaluation of the production steps and careful calibration of the machine tools to achieve such elegant, effortless results.
